Nina graduated from New York University with her Bachelors in Science of Nursing. Her passion to help others led her to specialize in oncology and work at some of the top oncology hospitals in the US including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center & Moffitt Cancer Center.
While in the middle of pursuing her Nurse practitioner degree she realized that this was not the form of medicine she wanted to treat and shifted gears.
She began gravitating towards more energetic & holistic forms of medicine. This led her down years of exploring different modalities of healing including obtaining her Reiki Masters certification. When she found acupuncture she knew she had found her calling.

Hey there, I’m Kecia.
In 1998, my journey into holistic health began with a leap into massage therapy. After graduating from that program I transitioned into teaching anatomy, physiology and massage therapy for nearly a decade. 2005 was a pivotal year that marked the introduction of Zero Balancing into my repertoire, unlocking access to deeper dimensions of energy within the body. In 2011, a decisive choice led me back to the classroom, embarking on a profound learning adventure in Chinese Medicine. I began a personal practice of meditation in 2019 and completed an intensive Meditation teacher training course in 2023. This fusion of experiences, from teaching to energy and soft tissue work, while embracing ancient traditions, shapes my approach as an acupuncturist and meditation teacher today.
As both a practitioner and receiver of these diverse modalities, I’ve gained profound insights into the transformative potential they hold individually and in combination. My personal journey took a significant turn when I embraced meditation, receiving my own personal Nakshatra mantra. This practice became a catalyst for a profound shift in my life, healing my heart in ways that I never imagined. Continually exploring various meditation methods alongside the rich tapestry of modalities I offer has deepened my understanding of holistic well-being. I will guide you on a journey where personal and professional experiences converge, creating space for your transformation and healing.
I am passionate about unlocking the body’s divine powers of healing. With my superpowers of listening and connecting, I guide individuals on a non-linear journey. I reject absolutes and embrace a nuanced perspective. I prefer to observe what’s working before making changes, fostering a collaborative and adaptive approach to health. In my practice, I strive to demystify the healing process by emphasizing that our bodies possess an innate wisdom waiting to be awakened. It’s not magic or voodoo - it’s about helping your body remember what it is designed to do on its own. As a partner in your healing journey, I will help guide you on this natural journey of self discovery and empowerment.
I am also a firm believer that we, as humans, are intricately connected to the earth and therefore strive to live in alignment with its seasonal elements. In my practice this belief extends to the methods I employ - a brilliant blend of wisdom from nature and modern understanding. I am committed to helping my patients foster a deeper understanding of how they can actively support their own wellbeing.
Together we will embark on a holistic journey, a fusion of ancient wisdom and a modern understanding. It will be a journey of discovery, an exploration where we embrace the profound connection between mind, body, spirit, nature and our surroundings. In this quest we will discover the transformative potential within the ebb and flow of your health journey and find healing by aligning ourselves within the seasonal rhythms of life to create a harmonious path to well-being.
